Install the game - Full Installation. Apply the Die Völker Service Pack 1 (v2.02) Update Extract the EGCDV201.COM Patch from the archive to the <GameDir>/BIN directory. Execute the Patch to remove the CD-Check from: DV.EXE Play the Game!

Extract the I5COMP.ZIP <GameDir>/CRO directory. Open a DOS-Box and change directory (CD) to <GameDir>/CRO . Execute/Start the CRACK.BAT file to remove the CD Check from: DV.EXE Play the Game!

Backup Anleitung :
Erstellt nun folgende temporary Verzeichnise
TempDir#1 : C:\TEMP\CD TempDir#2 : C:\TEMP\AUDIO TempDir#3 : C:\TEMP\CAB
Kopiert alle datein von der Originalen CD ins TempDir#1 außer diesen Dateien:
cd.idx amazon.gdb db.gdb dv.gdb mentor.gdb pimmons.gdb Sajiki.gdb TUTORIALS.gdb
Öffnet die *.idx und die *.gdb datein (siehe oben) mit einem HexEditor und speichert die datein in TempDir#1.
Kopiert alle 9 Audio Tracks in Verzeichnis TempDir#2 .
Kopiert die DATA1.CAB datei von TempDir#1 nach TempDir#3.
Entpackt die DV.EXE aus dem Patch Archiv nach TempDir#3 .
Entpackt die I5COMP.ZIP TempDir#3 .
Öffnet ein MS-DOS Fenster und wechselt ins Verzeichnis TempDir#3 .
Entfernt den Schreibschutz von der datei DATA1.CAB : attrib -R DATA1.CAB
Startet die: i5comp d DATA1.CAB DV.EXE Dieses löscht die originale DV.EXE von der DATA1.CAB datei.
Führt nun folgendes aus: mkdir bin
Führt jetzt aus: copy DV.EXE bin
Führt nun jetzt noch: i5comp a -g0 -r data1.cab bin Die gecrackte datei DV.EXE wird in der DATA1.CAB hinzugefügt.
Überschreibt die DATA1.CAB von TempDir#3 mit TempDir#1 (gefunden in dem SETUP Verzeichnis)
Erstellt eine Mixed-Mode CD-Image und Brennt folgende Verzeichnisse TempDir#1 (Data track) & TempDir#2 (Audio Tracks) auf eine 74 minuten CD-R und benutzt den CD-Namen: Die Völker
Play the Game!
NOTE: Make a backup of the original DATA1.CAB file for future patching!

Anleitung :
Use the Die Völker [GERMAN] 1:1 CD-Copy Install the game. Extract the CRACK.EXE patch to the game directory (in same directory as DV.EXE ). Execute the patch to remove the protection check. Copy the DieVölker.ini file from the WINDOWS directory to the game directory (in same directory as DV.EXE ). Play the Game!

starten.
ZUSATZ: Gebrauch eine 80 Minuten CD-R oder OverSize
Benütze den Cd Brenner zum Einlesen der Quell Cd da er die Fehler besser lesen und gegebenenfalls korrigieren kann.
